Action Research Report: Teacher Perception Survey
Educators constantly seek new ways to enhance students' social skills with diverse needs. By incorporating multimodal strategies, they take a proactive approach to positively impacting their students' lives. Therefore, I have collected quantitative and qualitative data on The Action Research Teacher Perception Survey. This powerful tool guided this research study, seeking to uncover innovative and effective methods for supporting the growth and development of diverse students in a teaching and learning environment.
Data Analysis, Results, and Planning Design
The present study involved an analysis and recording of the opinions and experiences of teachers. The findings reveal that most teachers, accounting for 87.5% of the sample, firmly believed that collaborative learning, through flexible grouping, is instrumental in enhancing the academic performance of students with diverse needs.
My survey shows teachers believe diverse learners can benefit through multimodal strategies.
Strategies like cooperative learning, peer tutoring, differentiated instruction, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) enhance the skills. Educators and instructional designers are encouraged to explore and incorporate these strategies into their teaching practices to support students with diverse needs and promote their academic success. Providing opportunities for students to express themselves through discussions, presentations, and projects strengthens their perspectives. It facilitates a culture of respect and equity in an inclusiveand centered learning environment.
